O-Desmethyltramadol, commonly referred to as O-DSMT or desmetramadol, is an opioid compound classified within the phenylpropylamine group. It functions as an active metabolite of tramadol. When compared to tramadol, O-DSMT is noted to be less stimulating and provides a sensation that is much closer to that of traditional opioids.
